  • Vendée region (better weather than Brittany, completely unresearched)
  • Italian lakes (Lake Garda with water parks)

  3. Compare:

    • Create side-by-side comparison of water facilities
    • Calculate exact driving times vs Brittany
    • Weather comparison (Brittany vs Vendée vs Southwest France)
  4. Decide:

    • Book early for best July 2026 prices (peak season)
    • Consider Flash Sale timing (La Grande Métairie ends 18 March!)

Key Insight

La Grande Métairie at £2,100 remains excellent value, but you should seriously consider:

  1. Center Parcs Le Bois Aux Daims if water facilities are your priority (7 slides vs 2-3, lazy river, wave pool, rapids) - worth the extra £500-600
  2. Pierre et Vacances Belle Dune if driving time matters (save 4-6 hours total travel)
  3. Vendée or Southwest France for better weather guarantee

The £500 budget increase from £2,000 to £2,500 opens up significantly better water park options that weren't viable before.
