- 10 nights NO car: £3,426 ❌ (still over budget)
- 7 nights + car: £2,786 ❌ (over budget)
What Changed:
- Flights verified at £411 (cheaper than estimated)
- Car hire verified at £483 (more expensive than estimated)
- Accommodation is DRAMATICALLY more expensive - cheapest £2,465 (vs £600-1,000 estimated)
- July peak season makes Mallorca very expensive
Why the estimates were so wrong:
- Peak July prices are 3-4x off-season rates
- Airbnb prices include all fees (cleaning, service) in total
- Popular family destinations command premium prices
Bottom Line: Even with the cheapest flights and NO car hire, 10 nights costs £3,426. Mallorca is beautiful but not budget-friendly in July 2026.
